For the 4th of July weekend our friends from STG came to stay with us! We were so happy that they came. We went to the Aurora fireworks on the night of the 3rd and the kids had a great time, Gavin wasn't even scared. On the 4th, we went to the parade in Richfield where Kurt was one of the announcers for the parade. Jace had a very good time getting the candy from the street- he didn't let a peice go- it was really cute! Gavin and Sydney enjoyed eating it:) I had to work during the day so Kurt took the Farnsworth's to Aurora for the festivities. At night we all headed to the Salina pool- this was very fun!! We all needed to be cooled off. Gavin absolutely loves the water! We came to my moms after and watched all our fireworks! On Saturday, we headded up to Accord Lakes to go camping. We took a four wheeler ride out to Jack Adley's, it was so much fun. Gavin kept falling asleep on the four wheelers- it was so cute!

We had a really fun weekend and were so glad that our friends could come stay with us! We love them so much and miss them!! Thanks so much for coming!!!

Mean Softball!!

Kurt has been playing softball this summer, this past Wednesday he had an accident with second base during their second game. He was running to second and he put all his weight on his left foot, well he rolled his ankle. If any of you reading this went to highschool with Kurt you know that this happened alot. This one however, has been more painful then the rest. He went to the ER that night and they said it was just badly sprained. Dr. B wanted him on cruches and to let it rest- ya right! That happened until we got home, cause Kurt of course knows more than the doctor!! It is still hurting him so we will be seeing a specialist next month to see about surgery on his ankles:) YEAH for us!!

I keep forgetting to take my camera with us!! And now I can't find it so that might be a blog problem:) I thought I would update you all with my boring words with what we have been doing lately. On June 14th Kurt's cousin got married in Draper and this really pretty reception place- so we went up the night before, just Kurt and I and stayed at Little America for our anniversary. It was so nice to be just the two of us for one night, we haven't left Gavin since he was born. We went to dinner and went to the Gateway- then realized we were too poor to shop there! Kurt's mom met us at the wedding with Gavin and we had a really good time at the wedding it was so pretty! After the luncheon we decided to go with Chett, Jerusha and Kyler to Hogle Zoo! It was a really hot day for the Zoo, but we had fun. Gavin loved the monkeys, so we bought him a stuffed animal that he laughed at every time he saw it! That night we stayed with my Grandma Barton, we had a good time visiting with her, she was excited that we stayed the night. We had a really fun weekend!

There isn't much going on at home, I am working two days a week at Alliance Rent a Car- it has been really nice. I am also working at Maurices, but I will be done working there on the 4th of July. I decided I am spending way to much money there, and not bringing any money home. I also work weekends there and I want to be home with Gavin as much as possible. He is growing up so fast!! I don't want to miss a thing! Kurt is still the manager of the Alltel Wireless store here in town. They recently got bought out by Verizon, so there are many changes to come! We are praying he will still have a job and that all will be okay with his store. That is about all that is going on here! I promise there will be pictures to come:)

Happy Anniversary!!

I just want to say Happy Anniversary to my husband! Three years today!!! YEAH! It has been an amazing three years full of tonz of happiness! Kurt and I started dating 8 years ago- crazy I know! He proposed to be in December of 2004 and we were married in June! I love being married to him, he is my everything and I want him to know how much I love him! I can't thank him enough for ALL that he does for me, he is a wonderful husband- I feel very blessed to have such a great husband!
